It has come to my attention that the majority of people arrive at my blog after googling the words SOLEIL + MOON + FRYE.

She's the actress who played the title tween on NBC's Punky Brewster  (the sitcom AND the animated series.)  Depending on your age, you might know her as one of the supporting characters from the syndicated series Sabrina the Teenage Witch, when Sabrina is in college and no longer a teenager.  I believe Soleil played her friend and/or roommate.

In an attempt to better serve my new audience (while at the same time annoying my regular readers) I am going to devote this site to MORE images, news, video clips, vlogs, fan fiction and poetry about SOLEIL MOON FRYE.  (And just to be on the safe side, I will occasionally mis-spell her name as to attract people who are wrongly searching for SOLEI Moon Frye.)

In the coming weeks I'll be posting clips from the episode where Punky says "no" to drugs, and the one where Punky witnesses the Challenger disaster. Maybe I'll even share the episode where Punky takes piano lessons from special guest star Julian Lennon.  I don't know, you'll just have to come back each day and see what's new.

Of course if you're NOT a die-hard fan of Ms. Frye's kid-friendly work, then I will work hard to accommodate your needs as well.  For example, there's this clip of Soleil being killed by Pumpkinhead in 1994's Pumpkinhead II: Bloodwings (the direct to video sequel to Pumpkinhead.)

For the record, the only reason I'd ever included Ms. Frye in the first place was in this extensive recap of my show about SHARK CINEMA.  In the live show, I'd included a brief mention of the 1995 made-for-TV movie PIRANHA.

It was a a remake of Roger Corman's 1978 Piranha,  and some people on Amazon.com have complained that they thought they were buying THAT version when insted they got a DVD of a low-budget feature that stars William Katt (a.k.a. The Greatest American Hero), a grown-up Soliel Moon Frye.  And a young Mila Kunis.  (Note that I added "young" +  "Mila" + "Kunis" to attract more pervs.)

So whether you are driven by cheap nostalgia or something insidious, let this be your number one source for Punky media. And for my regular readers, I'll be sure to include more footage of the actress being destroyed by various movie monsters.

Of course if you're looking for something that's authentically "punk" you're out of luck.
