I love how they modify the lyrics of "Hotter Than Hell" to make a more evil sounding "Rip and Destroy" for the imposter KISS to play...classic stuff!
BTW: in regards to your comment on my blog, that is indeed a real commercial! I actually saw, and demonstrated, the Guitar Idol last week at my local Target.
